Favorite Food on Campus: The iced seasonal cut out cookies
Favorite Place on Campus: McLeod Center! The energy in that space for events while surrounded by purple is unmatched. And the look on graduates' faces as they walk through the tunnel and then open up to be a full arena surrounded by their friends and family is absolutely moving.
Favorite Restaurant: Peppers. All of the food is delicious and it's even UNI-themed!
My Advice to Students: Try everything! There are innumerable opportunities available to you in college and this is the best time in your life to explore and try new things whether that be trips abroad, student involvement, on-campus employment, unique classes, or all-new majors. Don't be afraid to try it and in the process, you will learn so much about yourself that will serve you well in the future!
What do I love about working in the Office of the Registrar: The Office of the Registrar has a direct impact on students all the way from their entry to the institution through graduation and beyond through the services that we provide. With the variety of work we do, you never know what to expect from one day to the next whether it's looking ahead to future opportunities in the field or looking backwards at Catalogs from the 1800's, it's always evolving and we're always learning.
