Attention Graduates and Commencement Attendees- Fall 2012

Application for Graduation AND the Commencement RSVP are due by Friday, November 9, 2012 to ensure your inclusion in the commencement program.

There will be one ceremony held for Fall 2012 Commencement. The ceremony will be held in the McLeod Center. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis. While there is not a limit to the number of guests who can be in attendance, we encourage students to keep in mind a seating ratio of approximately six guests per student.

All information pertaining to the Fall 2012 Commencement, caps and gowns, diplomas and diploma covers, federal loan exit interviews, graduation check-outs, etc. is available to you via the Office of the Registrar Webpage

If you applied to graduate at the conclusion of the Fall semester, please monitor your e-mail for important information from our office. It is also important to check your academic advisement report in your student center, under the academics tab, for deficiencies in your graduation requirements. All deficiencies must be taken care of prior to January 24, 2013. If materials are not completed prior to this date, you will need to apply to graduate at the conclusion of the Spring semester. Please note that a $60.00 graduation fee is assessed each time you apply to graduate.

Diplomas will be mailed to your home address mid-February after grades have been reported by the faculty and eligibility for graduation has been determined. Please log into your MyUNIverse account to verify the accuracy of your home address.

If you wish your diploma to be mailed to a different address, or to an address outside of the U.S. border, please notify Irene Elbert via e-mail ( Foreign diplomas will be sent out by express mail delivery.
