Application for Early Readmission from Suspension

This application is for undergraduate students who have been academically suspended and want to apply for early readmission. UNI's suspension policy is detailed on the Office of the Registrar web page.

The Early Readmission Program requires the following:

  • Enrollment in UNIV 3159: Unlocking Motivation and Learning (2 credit hours), which includes in-class instruction and one-to-one meetings with a success coach. Attendance at the first UNIV 3159 class session is mandatory. Failure to attend the first class period will result in re-suspension.
  • Participation in meetings with campus resource staff members.

Failure to meet required components may result in re-suspension.

Applications for early readmission are reviewed by the Committee on Admission, Readmission, and Retention (CARR).  The committee will decide whether to recommend your acceptance into this program after meeting with you.

Deadline for application submission:

  • Due August 1 for Fall
  • Due January 7 for Spring
  • Early readmissions are NOT considered for Summer term

Any applications received after the deadline may not be considered.

Committee members may ask you to provide documentation to support claims you have made in this application.

After submitting this application, you will receive an email copy of your responses to aid you in preparing for your CARR meeting.
